She meets Bridget, the reigning equestrian champion, who suffers an injury, and asks her to compete in her place at the next competition. As she goes through physical therapy and begins training, the two girls must come together to learn the importance of friendship, family, following your dreams, and never giving up.
When a former equestrian champion returns home from college, she finds that her best friend is taking her place training for an upcoming competition. As she struggles with the injury that prevents her from riding again, the tension between the two mounts and their trainer encourages them to lean on each other, and their love of horses and racecars, to find strength, hope, and redemption.
